Just how is this 12 volt battery going to run your 36 volt scooter? It may seem like an industry secret to you but even your car uses cells of about 2.1 volts (this has to do with the physical properties of a lead acid battery) ganged up to make your 12 volt car battery run. The same principle is used here. You take three of these industrial batteries with the F2 connector (read .250 blade) jumpered together to add up to the 36 volts needed for your scooter. Because of the weight and since you will need three of the units to make the motor hum we suggest that you try locally first. These are the same industrial batteries that are used by virtually every industrial fire alarm, burgler alarm and other applications for back up or uninteruptable power supplies. Look around if you like. Try Granger, Sears, Wal-Mart first. You will find out our batteries are better, last longer and power a scooter further than the competition. But hey, you might save a little, a couple of times we might add since you will buy theirs several times to what you had to do when you bought ours.
